Why is there a Muse AI waitlist?
Meta launched Muse in the United States on September 8, 2026. Muse is an agent that runs on its own secure virtual machine for every user, which costs far more to run than a chatbot. So Meta is onboarding people in stages, with a waitlist and invite codes. Three things decide whether you get straight in:

Create a new Gmail account
Start with a fresh email that has never been used with Muse. If you are outside the US, avoid an email linked to your Facebook or Instagram account, since that can tie the sign-up to your real region.

Connect to a US VPN
Muse is rolling out in the United States first, and the region check is what puts most people on the waitlist or blocks them outright. Connect to a US server before you open the site. Seattle, Virginia and Charlotte are the locations people report working.

Open muse.ai in a private or incognito window (so no cached location is reused) or install the Muse app, and create your account with the new Gmail.

Verify your age
Muse is 18+. Complete the age check, usually a small refundable authorization on a payment card in your name. A payment card is required at sign-up even for free access.

Enter an invite code
If you are asked for an invite code, enter DO6KHS. If you get straight in, open Settings → Redeem Code and enter DO6KHS anyway, within 48 hours, to unlock the 1 billion token bonus. If it says the code is used up, use the backup code TU0NU0.
⏱ Don't miss the 48-hour window. Even if you got in without being asked for a code, redeem DO6KHS (or TU0NU0) in Settings → Redeem Code right away. After 48 hours the 1 billion token bonus can't be claimed on that account.
Waitlist tips that actually help
- Use a private window. Muse can remember your real location from an earlier visit. A fresh incognito session with the VPN already on avoids that.
- Keep the VPN on for the whole sign-up, including the age check. Switching mid-flow can trigger the region block again.
- Copy the code, don't type it. DO6KHS contains the letter O and TU0NU0 has two zeros, and a mistyped code looks exactly like an expired one.
- Try the app if the website blocks you (or the other way round). Muse is on iOS, Android and the web at muse.ai.
- Code used up? Each code only works a limited number of times (about 20), so try the backup code TU0NU0. Once you're in, you get your own code to share, and every friend who redeems it earns you another 1 billion tokens.
